HADEED- Construction Of Gantry Crane Runway And Site Lighting For Slab And Billet Storage

SAUDI IRON AND STEEL COMPANY (HADEED) a wholly owned subsidiary of the SAUDI BASIC INDUSTRIES CORPORATION is planning to construct 4 bays of gantry crane runways of approximately 370m each. The construction includes provision of necessary site lighting and perimeter road lighting facilities.GCE scope includes engineering, drafting, procurement, supply and installation for the construction of crane runway and site lighting for slab and billet storage area at the flat product facility of Saudi Iron and Steel Company (HADEED), jubail industrial city, KSA.

GCE planned the conceptual drawings and referenced standards for more comprehensive description of the work, Including the design and supply of the following:

1. 4- Reinforced concrete Crane Runways of 370 meter each.
2. 4-6 meter wide concrete road 370 meter each for an axial load of 50T.
3. Cable pit, manholes, and duck banks
4. Tower lights and street lights
5. Supply cable, incomer circuit breaker, distribution panel and distribution cables for tower lights and street lights.
6. Supply cable and circuit breaker for 4-35 Ton slab handing cranes.

Work also includes steel fabrication, testing and commissioning in accordance with the project drawings, construction specifications and all applicable SABIC/HADEED Engineering Standards, Industry Codes and Standards, and overall Good Construction Practice.
